This lil' Guiding light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.

Went back to Zhonghua just now! Last campfire. Zomg, felt so old! 4 years since we graduated, sad that Guides has crumbled. So many memories there; all our crazy retarded moments. Sucked that it rained, we were really looking forward to a real campfire.

Relieved the good ol' Guiding days while being (painfully) reminded that we were old. High-ed and enthu-ed like we always did, but after a while we got tired. Sad reality. And this generation likes K-pop! All the dance songs were K-pop songs. Generation gap. Oh oh. When the Scouts performed, one of them came down to hi-5 with the audience etc. Jessica See put her hands out to hi-5 but he totally ignored her hahahaha. She was so shocked and her hands were still in the air as she stared at him running around the hall. Epic shit hahahahaha. Should have seen her expression; PRICELESS.

They didn't sing Titanic! Our favourite song of all time. 'There was a stream too'! Hahaha we were trying to recall its name and we talked about the shoe, chair and what not. Watched them light up the campfire afterwards though! Display. Hahaha. It was freaking cool. We were all waiting to see if it was a success and TaiLim was near us.

Wts haha. So many of the juniors went over to become Ventures! They were more involved with the Scouts after our batch, jealous much.

Mr Ang was giving out tokens of appreciation on stage and we were wondering how it feels like for someone his age to don the Scouts uniform, hahaha.

Climbed the freaking awesome structure! Damn slippery though, cause of the rain. Still damn cool! Anw, the fire was damn warm (obviously). Imagine if we had the campfire at the parade square. The heat from the fire plus all our high-ness, woah. I actually miss the smell of the campfire.

Miss the girls like mad! 4 awesome years spent together, I remember how I'd look forward to Fridays, and how we told the seniors we wanted to learn drills when they wanted us to cheer back when we were in Sec 1. Hahaha they were all shocked.

Okay I'm still damn high nowwwwww! Once a Guide, always a Guide. They were surprised that I could still remember the Guides promise, heh.

i suddenly thought about it, and yeah. i think its better to do it? its apt to close down guides in zhonghua.
even though we seniors etc wont be happy, but ultimately, its for the good of the school i guess.
seriously, 7 uniformed groups in a school is way too many. plus if you realised, guides is the only UG that has no external help. the other UG either has officers, seniors, or teachers who are directly involved in the UG itself. actually, we once had. but idk where they disappeared to now haha.

oh wells. i cant say much, but yeah. i'll definitely miss zhonghua girl guides. esp the sec fours'08.
all the fun and laughter we had for 4 years, all the nonsense we did, camps, campfire, campfire songs, all the crap, esp on the last day of guides; singing taps in low and high pitches. oh man, those were the days.
guides was the avenue of fun, laughter, joy, amusement after a long and annoying school day. haha i still rmb how cheryl, yunjia and me said we wanted to pon guides once. and at the end, when we graduated, we graduated with 100% attendance. wth haha.

but i dont deny it, the batches of guides have been becoming worse. with each passing year, the standard of guides has dropped. oh wells. even the teachers. idk, what's with putting new teachers in guides? plus, there're no old teachers left. so in other words, these new teachers know nothing. so how can you expect guides to flourish?
just like how the school changed 6 out of 9 of our teachers in sec 3. with 4 out of 6 being fresh NIE graduates. its no wonder that 3e3'07 became one of the worst classes, when we were actually supposed to be the 3rd class.

on another note, i was being random and i was wondering. i think blogger should adopt wordpress's style of being able to lock posts. so you can lock posts within a locked blog.
haha then maybe it'll become blogpress or wordspot. actually the names sound nice anw. lol idk luh, cause sometimes i wanna rant about stuff but i dont want people to know, even though only a few people can read it haha. i did think about a diary but i think i would be too lazy to update it. oh wells..
