blues.
First day of work; pretty okay I guess. Except that I had trouble finding the correct block and the lift lobby. Finally found the lift lobby, went up and guess what, wrong lobby -.-"
Reached office, the cleaner told me I had to go to the 6th floor to exchange for a visitor's pass.
me: uh reporting for work, the cleaner asked me to come up here to get my pass.
security guard: oh you're the cleaner?
Wthhhh.
And almost no one knew I was Chinese. Except my boss. Pfft.
Felt like emogirl92 cause there wasn't anyone to talk to, and I stoned for one hour after work while waiting for J Senior to be done.
Did I mention how much I hate office politics?

OH how could I forget; I have a huge office all to myself! :D
It's superduperultramega hugeeeee! Like shiok only heh.

Okay time for bed.

queen of digression.

Digression over-rule, Const and me ended up leaving the album compilation for another day.

Delay in the West-bound train during peak hour, half of the platform was filled when I reached. Plus trains were arriving at intervals of 6 mins at 6:40pm, can it get more ridiculous?! And they kept saying "train services have resumed and trains may be packed, we apologize for the inconvenience." -.-"

Aston's-ed with the beloved workmates after QianMei's last day, waited for more than an hour. No surprise since it's Friday. And. I miss them loads, really. All our rubbish and lame jokes hahaha.
We were on the way to Plaza Singapura's Starbucks after dinner when we randomly decided to climb the long flight of steps to Timbre. Uber random, lol.
Honestly, I wonder how i survived step training two years ago D:

Oh I had a super bimbotic moment hahaha.
Outside Timbre, we looked up and saw many stars
LingRong: which is star which is satellite uh?
Gabriel: those that're blinking are stars cause there're rocks flying past etc. the solid lights are satallites.
Me: eh but look at that one, it's not blinking but it's moving leh. satellites are stationary what.
Gabriel: uh that's an aeroplane.

Heh. (Y)

goodbye StarHub.
Last day at work yesterday and now, the feeling's awesome.
Like a huge burden lifted off me! :D

Dinner-ed with the work mates, and they waited for me for one and a half hours cause I was clearing my cases and at the last minute, I realized there were other cases under another substatus.
But now, the feeling's one of extreme jubilation ((((((((((((((((((((:

Fish & Co-ed, and I had my Grilled Calamari! Frigging awesomeeeeeeee :D
Celebrated LingRong and HuiTing's birthday too, epic max.
We all had alot of fun last night hahahaha.
Photos with Yan Chng, I was too lazy to take any yst.

Pictures from our last meetup! (:

For now.. I'm too lazy to do anything. Guess I shall start packing my room today. Doubt I can finish it all in one day, but I prolly should get started. And do up my photo wall too!
YES, I SHOULD STOP PROCRASTINATING.

Anyone wants to have dinner tgt later/catch a movie?

Really, this feeling of not having anything to do's awesome. Too awesome till it feels kinda unreal.
I know I have to get a job soon luh. But one thing's for sure, I'm gonna play for one week before settling down again. Make that AT LEAST one week.

P.S Charmaine Chung Zhixin I know you're reading this: SORRY FOR MAKING YOU WAIT SO LONG YST! She came back to visit her colleagues and wanted to say hi, but I was too caught up with clearing my cases to leave my desk. And when I wanted to go say hi, my Team Leader was standing next to me D:
Sorry kae! I still love you <3.

improvisation.
I haven't gotten used to waking up at 8am on Sunday mornings. Likewise, I haven't gotten used to sleeping early on Saturday nights.

Sigh. 4 hours of sleep, yet again.

But I'm glad the rehearsal yst went smoothly, we all had fun doing impromptu improvisation haha.

Take 1..
Mary: (to Joel) Drummer! Why you 'tok tok' so many times! You're only supposed to go "tok tok tok"! You go "tok tok tok tok tok" how I sing you tell me!
Joel: Sorry sorry.
Take 2..
Mary: (to Daniel) Eh guitarist! Did I ask you to play the guitar? Who asked you to play the guitar huh?
Daniel: Uh. My father!
Hilarious much, hahaha.

Wanted to take a nap before meeting Charmaine cause I was uber shagged, but realized that if I were to sleep after eating my dinner etc I'd only get to spend 30 plus minutes in lala land. Knowing me, I'd be more grouchy afterwards.
As expected, was on the verge of falling asleep any moment by the time we finished doing what we had to do, lol.

Nonetheless, Sunday = happy day! :D :D :D :D :D

Today was a bitch, really.
My mind was uber far away, midway to lalaland i think.

4 weeks till I tender my resignation on 17th June; 3 weeks of work left since I'll be in HongKong next week.
Honestly, I cannot freaking wait to walk out of the doors that Friday evening, knowing that I'm never obligated to walk through those doors ever again.

rainbow connection.

Work is seriously tiring, but I'm happy.

I'm glad I'm in in Business Helpdesk, cause most of the time, corporate users are generally nicer and more polite; the chances of customers screaming at you are lesser as compared to General Enquiries. Although in return, we have alot of content/details to uds.

On the 2nd day of work-proper, I was being posted to Outbound, meaning instead of picking up calls, I attend to email enquiries, settle them and get back to the customers.
Apparently, we were 'selected' based on some criteria. My Team Leader mentioned smth about analytical skills and those who read/write alot.
There were two of us, and I thought that we fit one category each. Haha cause previously during training she did ask who's from the Arts stream and I was the only one.
Subsequently, during a conversation with the FullTime staff in Outbound, I learnt that another reason why we were chosen was cause we do things pretty fast.
Me: Huh I fast meh?
FT Staff: But you're a fast learner, you pick up new things very fast.
Okaaay, I never knew that lol.

But honestly, I kinda prefer Outbound. No stress over the phone while you rush to find out details as the customer is waiting on the line, and you dont have to suffer verbal abuse too. Wait correction, we still suffer, just that on a relatively lower scale.
Although yeah, our cases are way more complex, I've had cases that required me to read an email exchange btw StarHub and the company for a few months, with the customer insulting StarHub etc, with some even saying they wanted to seek third party action against StarHub -.-"
And irritating Account Managers who are just so freaking screwed up; they can't do their job properly, they tell customers the wrong thing, don't tag all the discounts for customer's bills, which ends up in us having to do a gazillion waivers. Sometimes, due to their delay in changing the plans, they ask us to do waivers after they've done the change.
Know what's the best part, when I check the accounts, no change has even been done, so much for doing a waiver -.-" This week alone, I've been adding AMs to my hate-list like free, and its only been two days. Hahaha.

But yeah, the people there make my job enjoyable.
Although I'm seriously uber tired.
First 3 days of work-proper, we OT-ed until 9plus to finish our training, yst I OT-ed for 2 hours, another 3 today. Just so I can finish all my cases. One thing I detest about Outbound, you have to rmb to get back to the cases, cause often times we escalate to this dept here and there, and they'll get routed back to you, and you have to follow-up. Bleah.

Sometimes it feels like school all over again, with all the analysing and all.
Plus my younger Team Leader seriously reminds me of Mr Ong, no joke. When I'll ask her smth, she'll throw back the question at me, and when I give her a (tentative) answer, she'll ask me why, and I'll have to explain the rationale. Makes me think alot alot alot. Just like what WOWS did to me last year -.-"
But I'm not complaining, it makes you learn faster cause you did the thought process yourself. That was how I managed to uds History last year lol.

And, I miss school terribly. :(
