happiness in a cup.
8th August 2012; a truly happy day. Met bb for lunch after sooooo long! Plus it was after the much dreaded SOC 211 paper. Love you loads bb! I anticipate more frequent meet-ups in the near future :)
Back to SR later in the evening! Thanksgiving Concert was a blast. Met
Nelly & Rahul earlier and we walked around campus; it felt good to
be back.
hahaha Kuang looks like a small satisfied kid :)
The performances were superb as expected; we really had a good
laugh. Mr Ong was laughing at how ridiculously hilarious the teachers
were; I think he forgot that he used to be one of them up there hahaha.
Epic moment when the teachers went up and we were trying to make him go
up too.
Missed the sing-along sessions so badly. National Day songs and If We Hold On Together :')
The latter is a song truly SRJC-ian. And you should have heard how
loudly the College Anthem was sung. Really so proud to be an SRJC-ian.
SRJC ALL FOR YOU ♥ ♥
Caught up with Mr Wong at the concourse thereafter and I have no idea why I ended up called him Mr Ong. I went, "Mr O-" before realizing my mistake and I decided to shut up after that. He realized it obviously and kept harping on the fact that I can only remember Mr Ong even tho he taught me in J1 heh. Sour grapes much ahahaha. I was asked to talk to his elbow ):
Later on I saw Miss Ong.
me: eh Miss Ong, 你越来越漂亮 leh!
Miss Ong: thanks thanks.
Mr Wong: aiya she can only remember the Ongs. you and Mr Ong.
Miss Ong: you also Ong what, just that there's an additional W in front.
Mr Ong: i think she only remember the pretty and handsome people.
Mr Wong: (smth that I can't rmb)
Mr Ong: (to me) eh i think he doesn't get it leh. HAHA
History dept with the History kiddos! [and Peter the photo-bomber.]
Dinner-ed at Upper Thomson, and I got a shock when we reached cause the Council juniors were there too. Massive load of orders, and when the guy wanted to repeat all the orders, Kuang Jie went, "I think even if you repeat we also don't know." I think he's secretly a part-timer at The Roti Prata House.
Udders-ed thereafter and zomg, try having Rum Rum Rasin and Tira-miss-u together in a cup. The alcohol content will totally blow you away. Nelly turned red, as usual HAHA. But still nom-nom nonetheless! I totally forgot that one of the items on Nelly's to-do list after returning from Brunei was to go to Udders. Whoopsy. Had to be reminded of my upcoming exam when I said that we should all go home cause Mr Ong went, "oh yar, you have an exam on Friday!!" Sighxz.
Got a lift home from him and hahaha the car ride was uber epic. I'd do anything just to relieve that 6 hours all over again, really. Haven't really been so happy happy for a long time. The happiness I experienced a week or two ago is on a totally different wavelength from what I'm still feeling right now.
Yes, things might have been different if I had stayed on in the Student Council. We were talking over ice-cream and they were saying that I'd most probably be in EXCO and all. Nonetheless, I'm glad I left Council but met 'em all. Ever so thankful that they accept and treat me as one of their own members. Initially I felt a lil weird cause it was just me and all the councillors but after a while, I kinda got used to it. Feel like an honourary member of the SR Student Council sometimes.
Through the SC, i met the most awesome friends, especially Nelson and Rahul. Thanks for everything, really love y'all deep deep! ♥
hello Mr Nelly! :D
uber awesome looking photo of us ahahaha.
Actually, there are more things that I'd really love to pen down regarding 8th August 2012, but I cannot do them here for obvious reasons. All I can say is that I'm glad certain things did and did not happen :) Labels: animal farm., from everlasting to everlasting., i love my friends :), SR memories.

If only dreams come true.
Dreamt of you the other night, it was just like the old times. All the jokes, bastard-ing and what nots. I miss having you in my life. But ah well, I tried didn't I. And to be honest, I kinda knew that we'd drift apart gradually. Guess I should be thankful that we managed to stay in constant contact for one year. Not looking forward to the day when we're out of one another's lives for good. If that day ever comes.
As we move on from one phase of life to another, it is inevitable that some people get left behind. Leaving you behind is something I never wanted, but oh well. We're just too caught up with our current lives I guess. Really glad that you were an impt part of my life for a period of time :> Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

Disappointment vs Expectation.
They always say that expectations lead to disappointment. What they didn't know, is that you can be disappointed even without expecting.
True story. Last year, I didn't expect, and I was really taken by surprise. I still rmb everything like it just happened yst. This year, no expectations at all. So imagine how glad I was. But the disappointment came afterwards, when I didn't make use of the opportunity which was right in front of me. And it sucked. I spent the next few days mulling over the matter, wondering why on Earth I was dumb enough to let the chance slip by me.
But y'know what? Maybe it's for the better. I should prolly stop thinking about this. Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

Secret fascination.
Nothing has changed, I guess it remains a fact that you were and will probably always be my secret fascination. Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

Moments.
Looking at some things just brought a smile to my face. Unexpectedly. Somehow, they reminded me of those memories I doubt I'll ever forget.
They were good memories, really. Somehow it feels as though those just happened recently. It was really nice relieving some of those random memories with you that brought a smile to my face. Glad you still remembered what happened, even though I know that some memories were really random. Guess it means that perhaps the memories meant smth after all.
Thanks for the memories.
Yes you, W. Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

my secret fascination.
Yup, she was right. Maybe it's just my secret fascination.
No matter what, that will always have a special place in my heart.
Sometimes I still wonder if it really happened, or was it just a figment of my imagination. Previously, I half-convinced myself that I was thinking too much. Perhaps nothing actually happened. But the recent happenings made me rethink my stance. Maybe they were real after all.
But now, that is history. History that I will always look back at and smile at the memories.
Thank you (: Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

Mystery.
Sometimes, it still mystifies me.
Or was it actually a figment of my imagination?
Y'know how somethings in life are uncomprehendable?
Well, this is one of them.
I look back at that period and I actually find it hard to believe that what happened, happened.
And how there's literally nothing left of it.
Just memories. Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

Contentment.
Maybe I still wanted that special place after all.
Maybe all along, all I wanted was to remain as a memory.
Maybe at the end of the day, I should prolly be content with the fact that I have a physical memory.
Afterall, actions speak louder than words. Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

eternally.
I somehow saw this coming, but I was clinging on to the possibility that perhaps, things wouldn't change. Right now, I choose to believe that you were under the assumption that I was busy studying.
Guess I've to wait a couple more days to find out if my hypothesis is correct.

prisoner of time.
Somehow, finding out that it wasn't an isolated incident makes things different; really. And I really start to wonder if all that has happened previously's gonna remain as a thing of the past, something that I can look back at and smile, as I reminisce the moments and the memories captured. Yet at the same time, there'll be a tinge of sadness cause I know that no matter what, those memories are part of the past; trapped as a prisoner of time.
Often times, when other tell me what they think the future will be like, I can't help but wonder if they'll ever translate into reality. I'm not being a pessimist here, its just that there'll no longer be any common ground. Soon, we'll be too caught up with our own things that we'll forget the special friendship we once had, and how somehow, you meant alot to me.Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

up and down the hill.
Honestly, it feels damn weird. Like its being forced and all. And you know the feeling you get when you know that at the end of the day, you're most likely not to get something but yet you just earnestly hope it'll come true? Yeah, thats the feeling I have now.
Idk why, it suddenly came upon me. Pretty ironic huh, especially with the yearning the entire day.Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

smile; an everlasting smile.
Often times, I can't help but wonder if I'm just one of the many.
But honestly, whether or not I am, I think I still wanna thank you for all the care and concern, be it perceived or real. And, thanks for always putting a smile on my face.Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

airplanes in the night sky.
After we're done with this phase of life, I'll move on. And I can't express how much I don't want this to be but a mere passing memory. Even after we move on, friendships can still last. And I want this one to last.
Cause it's been a somewhat special one to me. Honestly, you made a great impact on my life. And even if I want to, I can't possibly forget everything overnight.
xoxo, Jessica.Labels: from everlasting to everlasting.

take me on a roller coaster ride.
I'm totally exhausted. For some apparent reason, I couldn't sleep last night until 4am. Wait, correction. I forced myself to sleep at 4am, cause I looked into the mirror and saw dark shadows forming.
Oh wells, at least I covered a bit of Econs last night (Y) Halfway through the school day, I started feeling super duper ultra mega sehh. To top it off, we had a 3 hour Lit Timed Practice. -.-"
Stayed for History consult, and it didn't help that Mr Ong started shooting me with Econs related questions that I couldn't really answer. Most of them were from micro anyway, which kinda explains what I started staring at him in bewilderment each time he asked me a question. At least I could answer his cheem question of how Contractionary Monetary Policy leads to an increase in interest rates (Y) Mugging Econs last night paid off afterall :D
Retarded max.
Jessica : Aiya, I damn seh alr laaaa. Mr Ong : You want coffee? Jessica : Uh, better not. Coffee either has a minimum/maximum impact on me. I might end up more seh. Hahahaha
After a while,
Mr Ong : Eh, how come Michelle can answer all my questions? Jessica : Cause it's common sense! Michelle : You just shot yourself y'know. Jessica : I really seh liao la. And the two of them burst out laughing at me. Mean people!
And Mr Ong started being retarded.
Jessica : Eh, you damn retarded sia. Mr Ong : Of course. You seh, offer you coffee you don't want cause of maximum/minimum impact so must do this type of things to engage you what. Jessica : -.-" This reminds me, I've a UN ICJ SBQ due on Wednesday, along with 2 detailed essay outlines. The best part? I haven't started on any. Wait, there's more. 3 x Prelims question 2 for Econs, since I failed that question for the Test Corrections. Thank goodness I passed question 6. It's due first period tmr, damnit.
So much for wanting to study tonight.
I bet I'll just crash and knock out a while later.
And the stupid place isn't answering their phone. Uber stupid. So many people have asked me why on earth this kinda lost and found place isn't open on weekends and Monday. Mr Ong even said that most probably it isn't my wallet in the first place so they don't wanna disappoint me. Yeah right. Hahahaha. I think I'm going down after school to get my wallet? Provided they freaking answer their phone. I just remembered: I can't leave school till 2.30pm cause I freaking don't have my College Pass. Rawr.
Anyway, the CLB kids had their Oral Examination today. Afterwards, Ben & Ezra came into the Ruby room, where we were having our timed practice. Apparently, they were asked what their favourite subject was for the conversation segment.
Jessica : Someone should totally say Chinese. Gillian : Hahahaha damn joke, then the examiner will totally laugh at you cause you're freaking taking CLB.
True isn't it. Haha afterall, being lousy at a subject doesn't necessarily mean you don't like it. It might just be that for some reason or another, you're just not competent enough. Lol.
Let's hope tmr will be a better day. (:
Random, but I started wondering what you'd do if I said yes. Offer me yours? :D Labels: from everlasting to everlasting., school (:
