Porridge Date #1.
Ever heard of a porridge date? I went on one today.
In the end, I was the one who ended up with stuff stuck in btw my teeth.
No thanks to Crystal Jade's beef brisket. Imperial Treasure's one still
wins, hands down. And their egg tarts were freaking pathetic.
Honestly thought it would be the same as the ones they sell in the bakery. Guess I was wrong. Wanted the salted egg custard bun so badly but someone couldn't eat 'em D:
At Sour Sally's, I wanted to have Fruity Pebbles as one of the toppings. But no, they were too small *face palm*
Not complaining though, I had an awesome day. 6 years and still counting. I think we share the most retarded moments together. Like seriously. Even when we mugged for the A's tgt.
In case you're wondering, she did the new completely clear braces thing! Which is why you can't really see 'em.
As new friendships are forged, I'm really grateful for the existing friendships that allow me to be who I wanna be and not hold back; the ones that require no words of explanation; the ones that never fail to provide care, comfort and love in spite of the circumstances.

Happy Kid is me.
Love meetups with 不可思议. Somehow, they're just different from all my other groups of friends.
Old habits die hard anyway, I can never trust my best friend to be on time. Hahaha I know you'll be reading this. But I love you in spite of it all!
So joke, we wanted to eat roti-prata but the place was closed for renovation until Monday. Ended up having Astons. AND WE SAW A GROUP OF SR TEACHERS. We were looking for seats, and there was a small table next to them. At that point in time I didn't realize they were SR teachers cause the ones seating near the empty table were new teachers. Thank goodness we found another table. Didn't help that they were seated in front of the Aston's stall. YunJia and me walked to the stall and they went, "eh." And apparently she heard them calling me. Sorry uh, I didn't hear. So awkward can. All the Econs teachers plus one Geog teacher plus some trainees. Only Mary Choy taught me before (for banded lectures), but they all still knew me anyway. They even know my name, oh gosh.
That's one thing I really dislike about SR, I'm too 'known'. I can't be bad, it's like I'm forced to conform at all times. Urgh so annoying.
The other day, J and I were otw to Bishan when we saw SR canoeists at Macritche. He called out to Miss Ng, and she waved at us. For a while I forgot that she knew me. Sighh. I'm kinda enjoying Uni life now, when I'm less known. And I plan to keep it that way. It's really tiring keeping up with appearances and what not. For once, I want to be able to be who I want to be, instead of having a gazillion eyes watching you all the time.
Anyway today was ultra blur day. On the way back, we wanted to take 52 back to Bishan, and we forgot to check the direction. Realized smth was amiss after the bus started moving in the direction of Marymount station, hurriedly alighted and walked to take the train instead. In the train, we blindly got off at Bishan. No idea why. Hahaha I was wondering why the station looked so different, and we entered the train again. Epic day, really. And somehow, we always end up having HTHTs just as we're about to part. As always, we end up sitting at some random place to catch up before going home.
And I really look so pale today. All because of the stupid blood that's being drained from my body. I looked pale even with blusher, urgh.
My MacBook is another epic story. My life right now sucks. I'm just hoping that someone will help me to recover all my data. I can't afford to lose so many things, esp all the photos. Sighhh. But one thing's for sure: I have to re-type my annotated bibilography cause I know there're bound to be changes in my source list. And I have to re-save all my current sources again. WHY OH WHY. Why can't my Mac be ready soon? Or rather, why must my outline be due this week. Tskk. Labels: i love my friends :), SR memories., 不可思议

I still wish we played Wii or the other console games. But we had fun nonetheless :)
Yay we both dyed our hair alrdy! After a gazillion years of contemplating if we should. Okay for me it was a 'should-I-do-it-again-or-wait-and-hope-that-my-previous-dye-will-appear-someday'
The girls that have been with me ever since Sec 2, girls I know I can count on for advice, girls who wouldn't judge me for my actions, girls I can rant freely too, girls who just uds me so well. I really thank God for all 3 of you. And really, I rmb how our clique was formed. It was so random. At that point in time I think no one expected the clique to last so long. But guess what. By His grace, we're still so close after 5 years. :)

Chun Wei turns 21, with popcorn.
Swiped my card so many times yesterday, it seems as though I'm suddenly lacking in a lot of things. Bought a lot of things recently but I realized they were all necessities. Except for a bit but they're really the minority. Sucks to spend so much at one shot, urgh. Really depleted my pay I think, sigh. Play Nation-ed with my favourite girls, ended up board gaming cause there wasn't anymore available consoles. New Year's Eve-ed with the ODACians, and honestly it was a good show. Sat directly behind ChunWei and JunQiang, we wanted to give the Insp a birthday surprise. The show ended before midnight but we didn't care. Fun night, with us taking means to make sure our plan succeeded. Esp with all our attempts to throw him off track, including us 4 girls checking in at AMK Hub, and WaiKit texting him to say he was waiting to pass him his birthday present from YuanLin at AMK Hub. Super hush-hush in the theatre, we didn't dare laugh loudly for fear of ChunWei turning around to realize we were behind him. Memorable day, really. Birthday boy, hope you enjoyed yourself even though you were clearly exhausted and angsty esp upon reaching your house. Which was kinda a wasted trip too. But seriously, who gets popcorn poured all over you on your birthday in the middle of a crowded cinema?

Yesterday was a fantastic way to end the hectic week; with Captain's Ball during ODAC and a 不可思议 meetup afterwards to celebrate YunJia and my birthday. Cheryl wanted to meet at 7.30pm, but YunJia was afraid that the both of us couldn't make it in time, cause of CCA so we changed the meeting time to 8pm. And idk why, ODAC ended uber late yesterday, around 7pm if I'm not mistaken. Still had to discuss things for the recruitment afterwards, and by the time I left school with YunJia, it was already past 7.30pm.
Anyway, we had a great time catching up over dinner at Skinny Pizza @ Wheelock Place, and NYDC for desert afterwards. Haha we ordered 2 slices of cake, and Serene wanted to ask the people there to put a candle and light it up.

LOL we burst into laughter. Cheryl, oh Cheryl, still the same kuku head as before. Haha. But before Serene passed the cake to them, she realised Cheryl already took a bit of it -.-" Covered the 'hole' with the whipped cream on the plate and handed it to them. Truth & Dare afterwards, and we had uber weird dares.
1. Popping party poppers along Orchard Road, shouting Merry Christmas at the same time.
2. Playing Oh-Pillar along Orchard Road.
HAHA I was the only one who didn't get any dare. Serene had 2 lol. Wasted the people were too busy minding their own business, I don't think anyone paid any attention to us.
Cam-whored afterwards, and by the time I reached home it was midnight on the dot. Super tired, but what was most important was that all of us enjoyed ourselves to the max.
It's awesome how the 4 of us have maintained this friendship since we were in Sec 2, and somehow even though we don't see one another often during the year, we don't drift apart or anything.
I really really love these 3 girls, cause I know they're always there for me no matter what, even during my sad times, especially after receiving my O Level results, and failing my Promos.
They were there for me throughout, and they comforted me.
