Random cam-whore session while eating ice-cream during OG outing! On a day that I looked damn cui, but haha I think the photos look cute!

Brother left for Turkey last night, and I miss him already. After reaching home last night, I was using my comp on my bed. And I started to wonder what time he'd reach home, if I'd be asleep by the time he reaches home. Then I realized that he's alrdy a few gazillion million metres above sea level.

During Service just now, received his Whatsapp msg that he'd landed in Dubai, awaiting transit. And I really started missing him more. Sigh.
I don't usually miss him when he goes for short trips cause I know he'll be back. But now, we're talking about 5-6 freaking months. Mehhhhh.

Met the OG today! And gosh, I cannot play Fuse Ball on the iPad/iTouch. I was screaming away while playing, hahahaha. In the end JunYing stopped partnering me cause she was laughing too hard every time I started screaming heh. So annoying, they kept saying we should play it at the Annex when school reopens, confirm got people crowd around us, esp with my sound effects. Hmphhhhh!

And idk why my eyes hurt like crap today. They still do. Spectacles became my best friend. It's the cui until you need to wear specs kinda cui. I have a low degree, and I can survive without specs if I'm not reading, blah so sometimes I go out without my contacts/specs. But on days like today, I need my specs. Maybe just for a sense of security?

Randomly felt like shopping at Bugis Street, and yay Gillian was free to accompany me! :)
Every time we go to Bugis, we'd end up having Gelato at Venezia. Confirm plus chop haha.

Re-watching random episodes of Gossip Girl and zomg, Nate Archibald is oh so handsome. I want him to be my boyfriend hahahaha. Seriously.
Don't know why Fried insisted that he has no character. I actually respect him. He knows the difference btw doing the right thing and doing what people want him to do. Who will report his own father to the authorities just because he wants the best for him? Twice. Yes, he's harming his family but he knows its for the future good. Who wants to stand up on his own two feet and achieve smth out of his own accord? Yes, his grandfather can pull strings to get him into prestigious places but at the end of the day, he wants to be proud of his own achievements. Even if his actions don't land him a place at the top. And he's super mature too. I think he has really been hardened by the blows dealt out recently. Same goes for Chuck. Mature, sensible, uber gorgeous, oh what more can you ask for?

Although yes, I can't stand the fact that he goes for older women. So disgusting. But other than that seriously, Nate is awesome. Not that Chuck isn't awesome though. Its just the things he'd do for Serena, just to make sure she isn't hurt. Not all the time, but occasionally here and there. I think he still has feelings for her. My heart melts everytime he does these things, esp since he doesn't do it openly. Nate and Serena just look so perfect tgt. I just become so excited when I see them together, and somehow I don't feel the same way when I see Serena with Dan. Or with one of their flings. Why can't the two of them settle down with one another? There isn't any Jenny Humphrey to ruin their romance anymore.

I seriously hyperventilate when I see them so happy together. I really hope they end up together at the end. But then again, Gossip Girl is unpredictable. IMHO, its either they end up together, or that the series ends with them still being single.

Caught in the rain twice in two days, awesome or awesome?
Today's rain was a gazillion times worse than yst's, we all had a wet reunion dinner. The rain poured, the winds were so strong. In the end my brother and I stood up to eat. Suddenly rmbed what ChunWei said yst when the rain came in. Smth about water and wealth. Can't rmb the phrase. During lou-hei yst he was the one with all the phrases, hahaha he came well prepared.

And my nose is annoying the hell out of me.

Sucks that my dad wants to go to his mum's place at 8:30am tmr. We all know it's so that he can avoid other relatives. But 8:30am is seriously freaking early. Not like we're going out afterwards. It's grandma's > home > aunt's place for dinner. Can't we just go in the afternoon before going to my aunt's house? Mehhhh.

Love it when all 4 of us go out together, cause I have a longer time to get ready. My brother takes an uber long time, seriously. Hahaha.

 
First week of school has come and gone, I'm uber drained. After the celebrations on Monday and Tuesday, I woke up on Wednesday morning and wondered if it was a holiday or smth. Truth be told, I was really uber tired.

To top it off, my best friend insomnia has decided to pay me a visit. Thursday night was the worst, I only fell asleep around 6-ish. Thank goodness there was no Friday 8:30am class this week, else I'd have just died.

Met Short Girl for a while after school! D joined us after a while, then they left for a movie. I was supposed to walk around ION for a bit before heading home. But guess what. I shopped at F21, and walked down Orchard Road.
Initially decided not to visit Dhoby's Havaianas branch to get my slippers (which was OOS at ION) but in the end, I walked all the way down. -.-"

Retail therapy-ing by your lonesome feels oddly therapeutic. Don't ask me why.

And I need to rant. I don't know why these people are so inconsiderate. When it's raining, the sheltered walkway in school turns into a make-shift smoking zone. Inhaled a lot of second hand smoke as I made my way to the bus stop, it was seriously suffocating.

Dinner cum lou hei with ODACians today! Coincidentally, Daniel was at the same place! Didn't know until he checked Instagram afterwards. Small world huh.
Wore my newly purchased heels out for the first time today, and zomg I almost died. I'm okay with heels, quite frankly. I can even shop in heels. But this pair has no freaking friction. And you all know how heavy the rain was today. Best part is that we walked all the way from Wheelock Place to CHIJMES afterwards. My leg hurt afterwards, realized that the elevation of the heels is uber steep D:
At least I didn't get any blisters! More like won't get any :D :D



I think I really spent a lot this week, and I console myself with the fact that it's my birthday week, I have the right to pamper myself a little. Which I know is a lie, seriously. Hahaha. Comforting to know that CNY's just round the corner! Like literally. (Y)

I'm so superduperultramega glad that I'm going for reunion dinner this year! Best part is that it's not at my paternal grandma's house. Awesome shit :D

Talked for a bit before he left, sometimes I find it amusing how we got to know one another haha. Hope he doesn't drop NTR 108! Was kinda looking forward to having him in my class again! Plus we were planning to sit tgt hahaha.

Anw, saw this guy in COM 101. He looked familiar, we stared at one another for a while.

me: yeah. You look familiar, hmmmm
him: used to hang out with Marian!
me: ohhhh!
me: (to myself) huh Marian was an SP leh, if you used to hang out with her then I wasn't even in SR yet what. Can't be when I was in J1 cause technically you should still be in NS now!

But I still smiled at him happily.
And there was another girl, looked so happy to see me. So I just smiled rather enthusiastically. Have no idea who she is, seriously. HAHAHA.
Today was seriously epic. Esp when we were asked to self-intro: name, birthday, interesting fact. Almost everyone got shocked when I said I was born on 17th Jan. They all went, 'tmr?!'

Window shopped while waiting for the 'girls', huge success teehee. And I ran into Sandra AGAIN! Second time in one day.

Kinda got scammed by the ODACians; I thought it was only YuanLin, WanRu, Gwend and myself having dinner at Timbre. WanRu said she asked Ona along since they were in the same class but suddenly the whole clique started appearing slowly out of no where o.o

At Timbre Gwend asked me to go to the toilet with her and when we came back, there was a cake on the table! The singer asked if I was surprised by the cake and if I wanted to sing a song. EVERYONE SAID YES ZOMG. Said I could drag someone up with me and they all said ChunWei. -.-"
Pulled Gwend up in the end. So paiseh omggggggggggg.
But nonetheless, thank you everyone! :D Totally didn't expect it esp since it was a school night and everyone has school/work the next day.

Food Marathon with the beloved workmates tmr! :D hahaha wanted to meet at 5:30pm at Kallang then they asked if I can leave class early lol. So cute.

Attempted sleeping early last night, but the stupid rain kept me awake. Woke up uber early for church, concussed when I got home. And now I'm beginning to doubt my ability to wake up in time for school tmr. To top it off, I'm feeling tired now. Shall attempt to stay awake until prolly 11-ish. But from past experiences, when the clock strikes 11pm, I won't feel like sleeping amymore. #sadstoryofmylife

Partially prepared for school, and when I said partially I only meant the physical aspects. Mentally.. Nah, I still wanna nua at home and not go to school. Mehhh.

At least there're Timbre plans after school to chase away the annoying Monday blues! :)

And I have the best birthday present: the return of Gossip Girl after a-month-and-a-half hiatus. 16th Jan in the US relates to 17th Jan here in Singapore! Awesomeness. :D :D

Amazingly finished 99 episodes of Gossip Girl in 8 days, and I know I shouldn't start on HIMYM cause school's starting and I have stuff to do.

To-do list:
1. Iron most of my casual wear.
2. Pack my room properly.
3. Tune back my body clock.
4. Prepare my stationery.
5. Fill in the dates etc in my organizer.

To-buy list:
1. More hangers.
2. Foolscape paper.

Kinda not want school to start. I miss those days in Primary/Secondary School/JC where I'd have this nervous feeling on the eve of the first day of school. And I'd often be so excited that I'd end up tossing and turning before I finally fell asleep. Sadly, those days are far behind me. Now? I kinda dread going to school. Maybe it's cause I haven't found a clique that's in all my classes. Let's hope things change this semester.

The holidays are (sadly) coming to an end soon. In spite of it all, 2011's December was quite a good one, I must say.

Although I still find it hard to believe that I went out every single day ever since my exams ended, except for one solitary day to nurse my on-and-off fever. Actually the fun started on the eve of my last paper.
Nonetheless, meeting up with people I haven't really seen since school started was great. From Secondary School friends to JC friends to JC teachers to workmates to colleagues; it's really nice to see y'all once again.

To be honest, 2011 was a somewhat good year for me. Hopefully, 2012 will be the same, if not more awesome.

So. I met the Best Friend of 2011 today. Ironic that we only got to meet up in 2012, cause I don't count a 1 min meet-up at Lorong Chuan station to collect her online shopping loot from me as a meet-up.


Had Sogurt, on the last day of Christmas. Missed all of their other awesome deals on the other 11 days >:(
Travelled back to J8 from Bukit Timah for Manhattan's 1-for-1, sat next to 2 uber annoying girls. Bitch mode was turned on, maximum.

Met Const afterwards, and yay I got the heels I contemplated getting for the entire night :D

Y'know how love at first sight works right? Plus it was on sale. Okay I know I've been on a shoe rampage these past 2 days; somehow it always happens. I find a couple of nice footwear within a short span of time, and for the next gazillion months, I can't find any. That's my sad life. Esp since I'm uber fussy.
So yeap, that's my policy. No shopping until school reopens still stands, just that footwear ain't a part of the deal. I don't wanna go through the whole ordeal of all my footwear failing me tgt again. That's so 2011-ish. Trust me, it was bad. Although I think my fussy nature escalated the whole issue.

I think I really ate a lot today. But I'm a happy kid!

Looking at some things just brought a smile to my face. Unexpectedly. Somehow, they reminded me of those memories I doubt I'll ever forget.

They were good memories, really. Somehow it feels as though those just happened recently. It was really nice relieving some of those random memories with you that brought a smile to my face. Glad you still remembered what happened, even though I know that some memories were really random. Guess it means that perhaps the memories meant smth after all.
