I WANT ICE CREAM!
Haha I've been craving for Swensen's Banana Split since goodness knows how long. I still remember telling Miss Liu that when she asked the new J1 ODAC-ians what we'd want as a birthday present if we were given a $1o budget. And that was in early 2009. One year, and it hasn't been fufilled yet haha.
Then a few weeks ago, during DG, we were doing the passage about Paul and Silas being put in prison and suddenly an earthquake shook the place, and their chains broke.

In the end, we went to Pizza Hut for dinner and we were too full afterwards. The next week, I think we mentioned Swensen's too, but we ate at Ichiban Sushi and we were too lazy to go somewhere else. Haha.
Anyways, I've been uber lazy this weekend. Fatigue from the entire week finally kicked in. Haven't accomplished much, except to catch up on sleep. Having said that, I feel that I haven't rested enough yet haha o.o
I can't wait for Chinese New Year to comee! I doubt this year will be any different, cause I know we won't really go visiting, but at least I'll get some red packets? Haha. And there's my cousin's wedding to look forward too! On the 6th day of Chinese New Year :D Maybe I can get my red packets this year afterall (:
And there might be a steamboat at Vanessa's house on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year too!
Plus, it'll be a nice break from school! Haha I realised that in JC, the holidays mean much more than when we were in Primary and Secondary school!
That aside, I've been procrastinating doing my Literature essay! Even until now. And its due tmr! I really really really regret taking Literature! Its like, I no longer love Literature the way I did in Secondary school! Its easy to pass, yes. Score? Hell, no.
But, I know for sure that if God puts you through something, He'll surely see you through it. That's one of the awesome promises of His that I'll always cling on to. I wanted to change Literature to Chemistry if I were to retain, but since He let me go on to J2, I know He has a greater plan for me! (: Labels: school (:

22nd SR ODAC, thank you for all your effort today. As a result of all our hard work, 94 people signed up for ODAC. Yes, that might not be the final number that we will have; some will join other CCAs. Nonetheless, it was a job well done! I'm proud of all of you (:
Many of us have lost part of our voices, but that's the opportunity cost of recruiting new members into our big and awesome ODAC family. Hahaaa

Today was an awesome day! Haha idk why too. I just feel it was awesome! :D
Yeah, JC1s came in today, OSLs went high when we formed one line along the covered walkway to welcome the freshmen. Oh boy, it's hard to imagine that one year ago, I was just like one of them, walking into a brand new school. But I somehow don't remember the OSLs welcoming us the way we did this morning haha.
Anyway, cut off point for SRJC in 2010 : 16! Awesome much, it was 20 in 2008, dropped to 17 in 2009, and now its 16! We're above Pioneer Junior College, Inova Junior College, and Yishun Junior College. The number of Zhonghuarians in SRJC are significantly lower this year, compared to my year. And I hardly recognise most of them, there's one in my OG but I don't know him at all haha.
Super shagged, I haven't made up for sleeping 3 hours on Tuesday night, I guess it'll kick in over the weekend.
And I learnt something today. The McDonalds opposite Ang Mo Kio Library has awesome ice cream. Magdalene told Victoria and me about it after worship practice, but we didn't believe, cause afterall, ice cream is just ice cream, how different can it be? Visited the drive-thru, and she insisted on buying one each for us to try, and yeah. It's really different. Its hard on the inside, soft on the inside. And the cone's salty, tastes like popcorn haha. Apparently, the food at that particular McDonald's nicer than the other outlets.
Mag : I think I should introduce more people to that McDonald's. Then they will tell their friends and so on, then more people will go!
Joshua : You getting commision uhh?
Mag : No, but eh, good idea! I can tell them that I brought in the crowd.

Yesterday was totally HELL. Tons of homework due today.
1. 2 Literature Write-ups (1 was due yesterday, but I didn't do, so total of 2)
2. 1 History SBQ
3. Economics Tutorial; one essay plan
4. Math Tutorial
Seemingly little, but Lit is a killer, I swear. Sucked up so much of my brain juice, I ended up leaving it half done and proceeded to finish my other homework. By the time I finished everything on that list except for Math, it was 3.30am. I rushed History and Econs within 1 hour, and I was on the verge of knocking out by the time I was done. Gosh.
Doing Econs tutorial helps you understand stuff, I realised. Learnt more stuff about Econs last night! Haha (:
Anyway, its day 3 of the 3rd week of school. This week alone, I've cabbed once, and ran into school twice. Actually I shouldn't have cabbed, I was just too lazy to run in. But yeah, its a bad habit! I'm already waking up so late, and its only the beginning! Oh my gosh.
PE today was okayy! 2.4km run, 15.43mins. I missed the Gold range by 3 seconds. Yes, THREE. What the shit. But okay luhh, I'm quite happy with the timing, considering as how I haven't trained for ages. Tee hee.
Showered after PE, Priscilla and me literally rushed for the cubicals. We asked Mr Kok if we could leave once the bell rang, and her bag was in the gallery, while mine was outside the PE office. She THREW me her shoes to book a cubicle, haha. Super refreshing, I tell you. Especially when the sun was so hot. Anyway, she has hair made of steel or something! Haha she borrowed my comb and she 'broke' it into 2. Haha it could be fixed back, but omg. Her hair, power-packed to the max haha.
Somehow, time today passed uber slowly. Which was a good thing? Haha anyway I had fun today with my short friend Jermaine! She's the best thing that happened to me this year, just like how I'm the best thing that happened to her! Haha I seldom find people near my height near my weight. Weird uhh? They're usually uber light. But anw, my height-for-weight index is 100%! I'm the only 100% in my class =D
Orientation begins tmr, and I'm uber excited! Except for the fact that SOMEONE is in my OG. Bloody hell! I saw the thing and I was shocked/stunned/dumbfounded, whatever. Bleah. 7 days in LiJiang was enough, now this. Oh my gosh. And instead of sympathizing with me, most people I know laughed. Especially SANDRA FAUSTINA LEE HUI YI!

Got chased out of Lit class for the second time this year, first was because we were late & most of us didn't do the assignment, so the whole class got thrown out. Today, most of us got thrown out, cause we didn't finish the tutorial prep. Oh wells.
The week's only going to get busier, and I realised I have alot more things to be done, I've somehow overlooked them in my busy-ness.

Tried reading Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit just now, and I don't understand anything. Plus, I'm supposed to hand in the write-up of Exodus and Leviticus on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

That aside, this week's gonna be a super busy one, with the new JC1s coming in, and the CCA Recruitment Drive on Friday. That's on top of the super hectic JC2 workload. Plus band practice session on Thursday for worship on Saturday. Rawr
On a brighter note, my aunt gave me a wallet just now, someone gave it to her some time ago but its still unused. Welll. I like it, but its fat to the max. Haha.
I think I still want my Forever 21 wallet!

Yesterday was a fantastic way to end the hectic week; with Captain's Ball during ODAC and a 不可思议 meetup afterwards to celebrate YunJia and my birthday. Cheryl wanted to meet at 7.30pm, but YunJia was afraid that the both of us couldn't make it in time, cause of CCA so we changed the meeting time to 8pm. And idk why, ODAC ended uber late yesterday, around 7pm if I'm not mistaken. Still had to discuss things for the recruitment afterwards, and by the time I left school with YunJia, it was already past 7.30pm.
Anyway, we had a great time catching up over dinner at Skinny Pizza @ Wheelock Place, and NYDC for desert afterwards. Haha we ordered 2 slices of cake, and Serene wanted to ask the people there to put a candle and light it up.

LOL we burst into laughter. Cheryl, oh Cheryl, still the same kuku head as before. Haha. But before Serene passed the cake to them, she realised Cheryl already took a bit of it -.-" Covered the 'hole' with the whipped cream on the plate and handed it to them. Truth & Dare afterwards, and we had uber weird dares.
1. Popping party poppers along Orchard Road, shouting Merry Christmas at the same time.
2. Playing Oh-Pillar along Orchard Road.
HAHA I was the only one who didn't get any dare. Serene had 2 lol. Wasted the people were too busy minding their own business, I don't think anyone paid any attention to us.
Cam-whored afterwards, and by the time I reached home it was midnight on the dot. Super tired, but what was most important was that all of us enjoyed ourselves to the max.
It's awesome how the 4 of us have maintained this friendship since we were in Sec 2, and somehow even though we don't see one another often during the year, we don't drift apart or anything.
I really really love these 3 girls, cause I know they're always there for me no matter what, even during my sad times, especially after receiving my O Level results, and failing my Promos.
They were there for me throughout, and they comforted me.

You know what? Being in J2 really sucks. Piles of homework everyday, lecturers going at the speed of Japanese bullet trains. Plus, its not like I understand anything. Wan Ru! I really need you to explain Econs to me. Haha I'm really lost now.
Anyway, it only Day 2 of Week 2, but within these 2 days, I've learnt alot. Especially how we shouldn't judge people by how they look, appear and behave in front of you, cause you won't know whats going on in their minds. 2 classic examples, all I can say is that I'm glad I realized it right from the start. Better than finding out later on in the year. Oh wells..
I really miss 1A02'09. I miss the company, and all the nonsense we do during tutorials. 2A02's just different. Not mentioning the fact that all the people I used to hang out with are in 2A01, and my 2 besties in class are in the SP program. And I don't know why, but so far I hardly see any one else around school. I don't see Shawn, Regina, Vanessa, Kuang Jie, Constance, Yun Jia and Serene as often as I did last year. So far, I only keep meeting Jun Zhe around. Lol.
I really really really miss Shawn, Regina and Vanessa. I guess I was too used to their company last year :S
Shawn hasn't left for poly and I'm already missing him. I wonder what will happen when he leaves, which is within the next few days? Oh wells. I miss all the times last year, esp during the pre-Promos period, all the mugging at the cafe, and chiong-ing PW during post-promos. Anw, thanks for going for dinner with me even though you've already eaten, and thanks for listening to me rant endlessly about everything.

PE today was okayy, height and weight, then 2km run. The machine's retarded, I shrank again. But at least now, its 1.5m. That time idk how I shrank 2cm to 1.49m. Gained weight, I think it was after the LiJiang trip haha.
The run was amazingly alright! As much as I didn't want to run, I ran, and I realised I actually missed running (:
OH what happened after PE was epic. Omg is all I can say. Daniel's still as scatterbrained as ever. I happened to sit near him in the canteen. This time, he lost his wallet. And he still had the cheek to smile and say its his habit -.-
All he did was to buy a drink, and it disappeared. Haha reminds me of all the times in LiJiang where he constantly misplaced all his stuff and he resorted to telling me where all his stuff were, and what he brought along with him everytime we left the bus.
I asked him to check the Office, and good thing some kind person found it at the drinks stall and returned it to the Office. Tsk, Daniel. Haha
Oh wells. Urgh. I hate everything now. I guess I haven't really been in a good mood recently. All the homework, revision, ODAC stuff and yeah, other non-acadamic issues. Rawr. Outdoor PE at Pasir Ris Park today, urgh. Supposed to meet Jaslyn at 6am, but I only woke up when she texted me at 5.55am. Haha ended up meeting her only at 6.10am.
The bus was uber cold, we literally froze. Plus, it was a 1 hour journey.
2A02 lunch at Manhattan's Fish Market, and I'm left with $2 something for the week. ODAC owes me $19.90 for the materials I bought for the visit to the Arts Museum stuff. Somehow, I no longer want to go. Its the second time, same exhibits, blah. Oh wells.

1. Miss Zeenat doesn't allow my shoes. What the shit, its just pink. She said it didn't go well with her school colors, or something like that. Bloody shit her.
2. Ice-cream cone earrings not allowed. Haha but yeah, I kinda expected that already.
3. Signed up for Literature Night. I'm not sure if I really want it though. :/
4. Volunteered for Class Treasurer; cause its way better than being some subject rep. One year of being GP & Chinese rep was enough.
5. Got new lockers, I'm no longer at the bottom already. Moved up one 'story' :D
6. Timetable: Oh wells, good and bad, but I end quite early. Around 2.30pm everyday. 11.30am on Fridays, even weeks :D How good can that be?
7. Lijiang Final meeting & BBQ. I don't know why, but it was kinda sian. And I burnt my tongue while eating chocolate banana -.-"
8. My skin's really really peeling, its uber itchy. Bought new moisturizer! And the saleswoman in Watsons seriously SUCK. I asked where the moisturizers were. She asked for the brand I wanted, I told her and she said they were already sold out. Asked for Nivea next, she brought me to some facial whitening cream. Nevermind, I saw where the moisturizers were and walked over. Guess what? They had the brand I was looking for all along. What the shit?Labels: school (:

In 2010, I won't repeat the same mistakes as 2009. ~ I'll make sure I NEVER land up on the Early Bird Program again ~ I want to pass all my tests. No more U and S. Especially for Econs! ~ I'll do all my homework diligently and not do just for the sake of doing them ~ I'll no longer do last minute studying. Kills my brain cells and I'll end up hyperventilating cause I end up not knowing much ~ I'll pay attention during lectures and tutorials. One of the hardest things to do. ~ I'll prioritize my time, important things first, not fun things first ~ I'll play and study equally hard. If that's possible. Otherwise, study study study! ~ I'll seriously try to start doing my Quiet Time. I haven't even really touched my DG book for a long time. Except when I put it into my bag before going for Youth Service every week. No preparations, nothing. Gosh, I seriously suck ~ I'll do my utmost not to let any vulgarities come out of my mouth. Haha succeeded pretty much this year, except once in a while, when I let my guard down. ~ I'll try to ensure my room is always tidy. Omg super hard, but I'm gonna try make it possible ~ I'll save money! Rawr I hate the feeling now. Everything everywhere's on sale, and the stuff looks damn tempting. Then I look at myself, and feel sorry for myself. No money -.-" ~ I'll make sure my fitness level is still there, even after we step down from ODAC. Gosh, muscle aches after PE lessons suck totally. ~ I'll try not to let the surrounding things affect my emotions. Emo period for 2009 lasted for around one month, that sucked to the ultimate max. I'll be the happy girl I once was. Back in Zhonghua (: ~ I'll try to complain less! Haha Yong Siong and Yao Yang, I know you'll be happy to see this (: ~ I won't let anyone make me cry. Except tears of joy haha. 2009 saw the first and subsequently the last person to make me cry. That won't happen again.  And of course, less junk food. Bad for the body, bad for my pocket too!
